IMPORTANT GUIDELINES for Midget Players invited to Junior A camps and tryouts:
The NWCAA support our players efforts to play at the highest level and understand the difficult decisions that families need to make. The NWCAA has a policy that players need to attend a minimum of 2 tryouts in order to be eligible to play for the Flames and are working to assist everyone’s schedule. Exceptions may be made for returning AAA Flames players only.
Only if a player is missing a tryout date because of a conflict with a camp (WHL or Junior A only) you are then asked to CONTACT by e-mail Doris at email@example.com indicating the following:
Name of player:
Age of player:
Expected date of return:
The NWCAA ask that you keep in contact and update Doris at firstname.lastname@example.org as you proceed with the WHL or Junior A camps. This will allow the NWCAA to keep track of where our players are and provide a report to the coaching staff. Please note that you are NOT to contact the coaches directly.
**NOTE: All players are evaluated on an equal basis, there will be no player movement based on players attending camps. The AAA process is extremely competitive and players will only be evaluated on the sessions they attend. In order to have the best possible opportunity and evaluation, it is recommended that players attend all tryout sessions.
September 25th, 2017 will be the key date for submitting final rosters for last releases to community from Midget AA. As a result it is important that NWCAA Midget eligible players and parents fully understand their status with the junior clubs and advise the NWCAA if they are returning to Midget or staying on with the junior club prior to this date. Provided that proper and timely communication has occurred the final date for returning to the NWCAA will be September 25th, 2017. Players who want to return after this date will only be invited to try out for a NWCAA Junior B team.
JUNIOR B Tryouts
